The Sims 4 has limited options for colors and some swatches - unless players own many expansions and game packs - in clothing, hair, furniture, walls and floors. It seems like EA may finally be listening to the community, but it needs to go further. Simmers finally have something resembling the level of customization in The Sims 3 by choosing how to alter colors and opacity. EA said some options cause issues and its team is looking into fixing this for the future, but it also stated some makeup types or colors didn't make sense to customize - which seems a bit ridiculous. In most cases, dark makeup doesn't have any of these options and most blush doesn't have it either. It adds options for opacity, brightness and in some cases, hue. However, not all of these options apply to every type of makeup. The new update includes skin tone customization sliders, hairstyle updates and makeup sliders.
